Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Casts Record-Breaking Number of Models of Color

Gone are the days where the ideal Victoria's Secret Angle is a buxom blonde. Victoria’s Secret has recently announced the official list of models set to walk the runway during this year’s highly anticipated annual fashion show, and to a delightful surprise it features a record-breaking number of models of color. Some will be returning vets and others will be, “getting their wings,” for the very first time this year. Not only is this great news for the careers of the chosen models, the exposure of a VS fashion show is like no other in the industry, televised on a major network and seen by millions each year, it is easily the most watched fashion show in history. This is also great news for the viewers at home too. It's rare to see such a high level of diversity on the playing field of mainstream beauty, particularly on television. We aren't talking just a token here or there, we're talking a full on cast of some serious ethnic beauty. Set to air on December 9th, this will be a night that goes down in fashion history.
