Saloni Lodha’s Spring 2015 Ready-To-Wear collection best represented the essence of the Saloni brand; easy, comfortable, and flattering to the female figure. Lodha used influences from Central Asia which were represented with the presence of Bokhara print and pieces popped with vibrant hues and eye-catching patterns. However, the majority of Lodha’s collection was calm and cool. Jumpsuits, fluid sheer apricot maxi dresses, and a clean umbrella skirt were pleasant surprises within the presentation. Lodha is insistent on creating clothing that is made for the everyday woman, the everyday woman with a mix of Indian heritage and chic London style of course.

I think this collection is really pretty and I think the structure can work for multiple body types. I like how...what's the word I'm looking for...fluid (?) the dresses are and the color combs scream spring time. I wonder how many everyday women will be receptive to this particular collection, because I think if I were to stumble across these in a department store or boutique, I'd definitely gravitate towards them, if money was in place, of course.
