The French model whose heritage is both of African and Polish decent is the definition of stunning in this Amazon inspired editorial for French Revue de Modes. Styled by Jonathan Mahaut and shot by Urivaldo Lopes, the art direction for this editorial is executed impeccably with Anais as a gorgeous warrior in Christian Dior, Roberto Cavalli, Versace, Emilio Pucci, and Saint Laurent to name a few. The spread also features topless photos of Anais which couldn’t have come at a better time as the world seems to be on debating sides concerning the female body. On one hand breasts have been, for lack of a better word, popping up all over fashion month and applauded. On the other hand stolen nude photos of celebrities are being posted to Twitter and harshly ridiculed. Ultimately sending mixed messages about the female body, sexuality, and most importantly the way we’re supposed to feel about it. I believe these topless photos of Anais share a very strong message within the context of such debate. Her bare breasts fit seamlessly within the model of her being a woman of both beauty and strength, certainly not shame – just the way it should be.

She's absolutely gorge and I love that her name is Anais = ]. I've seen her before in different ads and shots and had no idea she is African and Polish. I think the never-ending debate about women's bodies is a little overdone, but I also believe that presentation is everything. A bathroom nude shot is not artistic or professional, but hey, whatever floats your boat. Either way, it's a woman's choice to decide whether she wants to expose herself or cover up and neither choice makes her any less of a person or wrong for whatever choice that may be.
