Chinese model Shu Pei gets sensual'n'seductive on the beach in some serious glamour shots for the May 2014 issue of Vogue China. The editorial was photographed by Jem Mitchell, styled by both Ida Wang and Joanna Schlenzka, with makeup by Jeanine Lobell. Beauty editorials seem to be where Shu Pei shines, for obvious reasons. Porcelain skin and pouty lips made for lipstick, what more can you ask for? If I wasn’t seriously trying to ween the phrase “gives me life” out of my vocabulary that is exactly what I’d say about this editorial.
Sidenote: Is it just me or does orange seem to be the true color of 2014? You know, despite the declaration of “Radiant Orchid” that Pantone made earlier this year. They might’ve missed the mark with that one.
